Laboratories and E-Learning

In addition to the general purpose computer laboratories where graduate students conduct their course work and research, the Institute maintains the following special purpose laboratories.

The Institute is the coordinator of the Medical Information and Communication Technology Laboratory for ÖYP (Öğretim Üyesi Yetiştirme Programı) graduate students to do their interdisciplinary research in medical signal, image, information acquisition / processing /communication fields.

Cognitive Science Experimental Research Laboratory is equipped with hardware and software designed to collect behavioral data from human participants. Ongoing research projects include perception of harmonic structure in music and effects of generation on memory for content and source of information.

A learning management tool for e-learning, Net-Class, and online programs and courses are developed and conducted.

The Distance Learning Center serves as a laboratory for conducting e-learning research and activities, an area of research and development the Institute got involved since its establishment.
